Motoqua Sandstone provides two very distinctive looks. "Picture Stone", with its very exotic tans and browns or "Natural", a nice consistent tan with light brown features. Sandstone is porous and needs to be sealed. Finishes and edging of our standard 3cm or 2cm slabs are no problem, all types of edge detail and surface finishes have proven successful. Finishes available on stock slabs are polished or honed. Inside the home, Motoqua sandstone has been used to bring natural beauty to the kitchen, fireplace surrounds, table tops, and flooring. It has also been used as veneer.
Custom thickness and cuts are available with ample lead time

Natural “cementing” is what holds the sand

calcium carbonate, which are often derived either from dissolution
or from alteration of the sand after it was buried.
